Current setup

This drawing illustrates the general arrangement of the modified LCD monitor.

Alternative setup

In some cases the controller board of the monitor does not emit too much EMF so it can be left in the monitor, and the LVDS cable, the controls cable, the controller board box are not needed. The power supply instead has to be outside the monitor and quite far from the desk.

Case with raised floor

In a room with a raised floor like those used in IT departments the additional cables and boxes can stay under the floor.
