Plastic chassis
This is the plastic chassis of a LCD monitor, it doesn't provide any electromagnetic shielding. Inside the box the LCD module and the other components are usually partially enclosed in a box of thin metal sheet which can only reduce the emissions at the radio and TV frequencies, but leaves unaltered the low and middle frequency emissions.
